Amazon HDNet titles (48): These are 25-50 min HDNet docs sold only via Amazon.com for a very short window after release (probably a few weeks). They are 1080i mpeg2 recorded on a DVD-r, so whether these need to be included with the others as part of an essential HD DVD collection is debatable. I chose not to include them, as most have even been verified to exist and mainly because of just being low grade docs on DVD-r, so you have to draw the line somewhere I suppose.

I think I'll wait 5-10 years before I go there. By then I probably won't need so many. For now I just have a few rare titles (like Taking Lives) on a hard drive. But for me most of the value is in the collectibility aspect, ie, the discs themselves, so the only real backup for that is having an extra disc.

haha, they would be the last titles on earth I'd be interested in buying, but for completeness sake I'll have to anyway. I've checked out a few of the 'straight' titles out of curiousity but my adult collection is stashed deep in the closet.
