I don't doubt this one is rare but that is one of the funnier things I have seen. I purchased the DVD used for about $5 years ago and thought the movie was only OK. I wonder how much a really bad movie that was available in very limited quantities on HD DVD would be worth. I am also not sure how it was released in such small quantities when so many others were released in great quantities. Oh well, if I find it at a cheap price somewhere, I am going to grab it and try to sell it.

Not necessarily, Bonnie and Clyde was one hd dvd that was not put on sale at a reduced cost, maybe due to the fact it was one of the last ones put out by Warner, and I seriously doubt there was a ton of them made. As for Inetvideo they could have been sent in a few by one of their suppliers and after it's gone thats it. Remember they received the Jack Ryan collection in twice and reduced the price on that one also. I'm just saying they should not be used as an indicator of what is rare and what is not.

Good points. Anyway, I put it in the 'formerly rare' list that I just created (below the rare list), and if it gets hard to find again I'll move it back up.

Bonnie and Clyde is one (the only?) HD DVD that has the "book" included with it.

From Amazon description:

Quote:
High Def Exclusive: 34-page hardcover book that includes a detailed production history, star/director filmographies and rare archival behind the scenes photos.

Just picked up Band of Brothers for $5 at WalMart. I bought 4 movies, they were 2 for $10. Every now and then WM brings them in.

You picked up the HD DVD Band of Brothers at Walmart? The only HD DVD release of that show was a five volume set released in Japan. Is that what you bought?

Wal-Mart in Canada does come up with HD DVD's from time to time but I have not seen any in a US Wal-Mart in a long time, well over a year.

Chris
I just happened to stumble across those yesterday. A person never knows when they'll get some in, if any.
