HD DVD is it still worth it?

I love Hd format I bought my 1st player before the outcome had been decided and although I will eventually start to buy blu ray dvds right now you cant beat the price for HD DVD of course my collection will only grow so big and thats the end but I will always have one of the best upconversion dvd players out there

I was like you. I bought into HD DVD before the format war ended. I took advantage of HD movies being clearanced at mom and pop video stores where the discs were not even rented and were in brand new condition for around $10/piece. And now my local Frys has them being discounted every week to a low $4.99 on sale or regular price at an average of $10. I have over 100 movies now including the box sets for Matrix and all the trilogies. It's too bad the format lost but I felt that I won by getting an excellent A35 and very inexpensive HD movies with awesome picture/sound for a third of the price of blu-ray for the older collections. I guess I'll hang onto my A35 and start building my collection with blu-ray now.
