Default Zodiac Directors Cut 2 Disc Special Edition

Title: Zodiac

Staring; Robert Downey Jr., Jake Gylenhal (not sure on Sp). and several other's

Story; This is about the killing spree in California from the late sixties to early seventies, and has not been solved to this date.

P/Q 4/5, played well on my particular set up, had no issues with sticking or pixelation.

Sound/Q: 4/5 sounded great had to turn volume up a little during a couple of the "phone call scenes" more than likely due to my over all set up....

Extras, have not had the chance to get through them all but having some of the extras in HD was a definate plus.

Watched this with my wife, and her only complaint was....the length but even she admitted that this is a must watch again for her, so she can pick some of the smaller details.

I pretty much agree, excellent film, goes on a bit, but it's all actually relevant and adds to the film, rather than their being a chunk of crud you could just chop out without missing.

Only thing I'd differ with you on is PQ, I'd actually rate it as one of, if not the best HD transfer I've ever seen.

Mike;

After I watched Atonement and Full metal jacket last night I went back and watched the first ten minutes of this movie (the darker scenes) and I have to agree that this one though not a 5/5 I will definately say for picture quality up to 4.75/5.....

One of my all-time favorite movies. I give the HD-DVD transfer high marks for picture quality and audio - a great many backgrounds are digitally superimposed, but one could never tell it. It's a testament to the skill of the director and the special effects crew as well as the DVD authors.
