I think this article belongs here... just hope I'm not burying it. Equipment like this, is showing that content and systems are migrating to PC's. If anyone gets one of these boxes, leave us your thoughts please.
http://www.engadget.com/2008/05/01/z...-to-your-hdtv/ http://www.digitalhome.ca/content/view/2492/206/ From what I gather, this box plugs into your computer (PC or whatever) and subsequently plugs into your coax, then sniffs out an unused channel slot and broadcasts your PC video to any TV hooked to that coax. Nice trick, wonder if you could become a rogue broadcaster in a large apartment building? Since ZvBox provides a duplication of what you see on your monitor, anything you can do on your computer you can do on your HDTVs. The ZvBox is being offered as a bundle including the ZvRemote and Zviewer, ships in June for $499. |
