Just saw that there is chain gangs and stretchers, and you can even truck the refs... and get hurt from it! Sorry, looked at it earlier don't know the link but I'm sure you could google it.

Yeah Nips... the gangtackling w/ up to 9 players and I read you can switch off your guy being tackled to an OL and slam into the pile to move it forward if he's got the power.

FYI.. I'm still not gettin my hopes up, just reporting what I've read.
Also, if this has an online Franchise similar to Online Dynasty on NCAA I will DEFINITELY be passing on NCAA.. from what I've read the gameplay has remained stagnant on that game.

Don't believe anything negative you read about NCAA, eck. It's all propoganda to keep you away from our online dynasty. NCAA 10 is going to be a flawless masterpiece.

Sperm cells shot from the head of my penis and formed a crust in my undies.

Not really, but I'm getting this. We can have a HUGE Franchise.. This is way better than NCAA's offering in my opinion.

Hopefully NBA2k follows suit

E3 2009: Madden NFL 10: Online Franchise Revealed
The mode you've always dreamed about is on its way.
by Nate Ahearn

June 1, 2009 - Last week EA Sports announced one new and innovative way to play Madden online with the advent of two-player co-op. Two pigskin junkies will be able to hop onto Xbox Live or the PlayStation Network and play together while enjoying customized camera angles for every position on the field. Today at Electronic Arts' E3 press conference EA Sports let loose their second new multiplayer initiative: online franchise mode.

I got the chance to head down to EA's Los Angeles studios several weeks ago for a Pre-E3 event and saw the online franchise mode up and running for the first time. Just as you'd expect, all 32 teams can be inhabited by a human player and taken through numerous seasons. Either that, or you can corral as many pals as possible and let the CPU manage the actions of the rest of the teams in the NFL.

When you start up your league, one person is designated as the commissioner. It's his job to approve trades and to decide whether to kick things off with a live fantasy draft or go with traditional rosters. Trades can be done in several different ways. You can go for a 3-for-3 trade, a 2-for-3 trade, you can include draft picks or future draft picks in the deal. The only catch is that every move needs to be given the go-ahead by the commish. Here's hoping that there's a voting mechanic to overthrow unruly commissioners who unfairly favor one team over another.

Cooler still is the ability to change things within your franchise from a PC or iPhone while on the go. EA Sports is planning to offer an online franchise hub of sorts, along with an iPhone application, that will let you do things like set your depth chart, propose trades and possibly simulate games on your schedule (though that's still up in the air) with the consent of the other player. The interface for all of these interactions is run through EA Sports World and looked sleek and fairly easy-to-use from my quick demo. The demoer quickly shuffled his quarterbacks and the Xbox sitting next to the PC instantly updated with the new information.

My one real concern with online franchise is how reliable other players will be to meet up at an agreed upon time to play a game. It'd be my guess that online franchise mode will be largely driven by networks of friends rather than random people joining up and making leagues.

Madden NFL 10 is scheduled to launch on August 14 with online franchise mode for both Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

They once made a Chuck Norris toilet paper, but it had to be discontinued because it wouldn't take shit from anyone.
