That is good to hear! The load time off the HDD wasn't too bad. I wonder how it will be off the BD?

This game will probably cache a nice chunk of your HDD or something? I don't think Uncharted had this much varying textures.

I guess those interviews where they said some levels use 2GB of data aren't so far fetched now.

ND guys are geniuses. These are the same guys that managed a huge world with no loading times(J&D) when such a thing was thought to be impossible on PS2 at the time.

thats correct GG already confirm that the game will require absoluty no install, thats what really made me shit my pants. just like when ND said uncharted would have no install AND NO LOAD TIMES throughout the entire game, i just couldnt believe it, but then again this guys are beyond excellent devs.. not no stupid capcom bullshit. whether they(capcom) are not getting enough support from sony or what i dont know, but i said it before over a year ago when uncharted 1 came out, i mentioned capcom should learn something from ND cause a few months later thats when capcom came out with DMC4 and its 5gig install. ND and GG should win an award for "Best PS3 developers"

if the demo is 1.2gigs and this short we cant leave out the fact that GG can reuse textures, also im sure they are using a 50gig BD disc and not just a 25gig disc. also, one can almost never judge a game based off the demo, its possible the disc version will have some kind of compression too so more data can fit onto the disc..

on another note, no one ever answered my question about why during the game, the screen always has 4 dark corners on it(top right, top left, bottom right, bottom left).... and for some reason i couldnt find anyone on the internet mention about this or complain about it. so finally after playing around with the demo, i found out what the 4 dark corners on the screen are, they are part of the HUB!!... i went into the options and disabled the HUB and bingo, the game was 100% full screen vs like the 98%. when i turned on the HUB again i notice the 4 dark corners came back, wow, i wonder why that is? i really hate those 4 dark corners, they just totally take away from the experience so now im left with no choice but to play with the HUB turned off, it makes it alittle harder only cause i have no idea how much ammo i have left HOWEVER!!!! this brings up another "attention to detail" that i notice in the sound department! did anyone notice that the sound of the rifle changes as your firing AS YOUR SLOWLY RUNNING OUT OF AMMO!! pure fucking genius!!! OMF!. i only noticed this while playing with NO HUB cause i just kept shooting and i notice my rifle making a different sound.... so basically its pretty much totally possible to play the entire game with NO HUB cause you at least know when your gun is running out of ammo.

what? do you know what im refering to when i say the games HUB, its in the visual options in the killzone 2 demo, you can enable it and disable it and basically when you disable it, you cannot see anything floating on your screen like the amount of ammo you have or even the "Square to pick up a weapon" .. nothing comes up on the screen.

Yes- If you shoot or grenade him so that he falls off of his perch, you have access to the gun.

Any one know what build the demo is from? it be either the preview code or the final build I guess, it does say 2008 on the title screen which makes me think its the preview code.
