yea if you have your PS3 set to full RGB, then your missing out a lot on the graphics hahahaha.

i agree with you pinoy that the feel of the game/controls are "heavy" thats a great way to describe it in one word, its certainly far far from "twitchy" like cod4 for example. but this "heaviness" gives the game a even more realistic feel to it.

Yes the way it slowly begins to respond to your control isn't a problem for me... it's the way the momentum keeps going after you let off the stick that I'm working on. Like I said though, not a gamebreaker but very different from what we're used to. I think it'll actually work out pretty well and force people to work as teams rather than solo run'n'gunners.

OK-
Control layout: Alternate 2 is CoD version. Sensitivity needs to be jacked up at least 3/4 for me, maybe more for some of you. The "lag" is to simulate heft or weight to the player, sensitivity will mitigate that. Zoom lock is a must too.
The one difference for the controls is the cover system. L2 is cover and you MUST use it. Period.
Graphics: Insane.
Sound: ditto.
Gameplay: There is a random dialogue thing going on here between you and your team. Pretty funny. It is also to your advantage to "heal" your squad mates. Squad and enemy AI is outstanding. First level has a very "Saving Private Ryan" feel to it. Very visceral and gritty.
Helghan rifle is more accurate than the ISA version. ISA has better sighting.
Make sure to shoot all the cylinders and tanks in the warehouse.
Ammo and grenades available throughout.
Overall? Damn good. Way too short.... After you run out of the warehouse and the screen fades to black, I started blasting and my partner said something about "nice shot" before the game goes in to bullet ballet.
One complaint? Have to zoom out to reload.
Definite system seller.

Is it wrong to have played the demo around 15 times already?:

I can make it through without wasting a bullet now.

Ya know what? It BETTER EVERY TIME! This game makes me want to lick the dual shock analog pads furiously like they were butter soaked nipples.

This reminds me of the time I bought Zone of Enders on the PS2 just for the MGS2 demo.

I must have played that thing at least 100 times before the game came out. But what else was there to play on PS2 at the time

Turn off the crosshair and the HUD, along with subtitles and hints. The visuals really blossom when nothing is obscuring them, and it also does wonders for immersion.

The one thing about turning the HUD off that might annoy some is that it also turns off those weapon indicators when you're near one to pick up. When you've played the demo a couple of times, you get used to what's what and that's no longer really an issue.

Is the running a little weird to you guys? it seemed to really only work about half the time for me. Then again I was never a fan of the L3 and R3 buttons.
