Default NXE: Makes NBA 2K9 play so much better after download

NBA 2K9 was my first download to my HDD. i figured why not give it a try and see if the game runs any better. i honestly expected nothing more then my mind playing tricks on me here and there with me thinking it's a little better.

Well to my surprise it plays way better now. the frame rate so noticable better right off the bat. overall i have noticed the game is much smoother and so much more playable for offline matches.

i thought ok maybe my mind is playing a big old April Fools sized joke on me so i did a little looking around the web. It seems others who got NXE early also downloaded NBA 2K9 on the HDD and instantly found it that much better.

at first i thought big deal with the full game downloads because it still needed the disk but now i'm convinced it's a major plus for those games that are great but a little choppyness ruins them (Mass Effect anyone).

so those wondering if full game downloads are just a gimmick on the heels of the halo news or if they really do help some games need to look no further then a Basketball game, i know of all games to prove it's more then a gimmmmmmmick.
