Default With XBL down today what do you guys plan on doing today?

honestly for the last 20 minutes i have been trying to tweek my network router and access point trying to figure out why XBL is not able to work. then it just hit me we don't have XBL for an entire day today.

now i'm thinking i might get out and play some basketball. just as i get to the door to see how the weather is it freaking starts raining. then to top it off my D* is acting up as well. oh well it looks like it's back to playing my madden franchise or to get caught up in Bio Shock. I have not played it since i purchased my Pioneer Kuro so maybe it's about time to see just how much better it looks on this tv compared to my Sony XBR1 and A3000. maybe even a little lost oddessy can get some burn today. i know tiger woods is out of the question. it just isn't the same without gamernet. I don't know what do you guys suggest.

to bad i was really looking forward to playing some COD today.

hell i might even dust off my PS3 and play some games on it, . nah it looks so cool just sitting there so i don't want to ruin the vibe it gives off.

i think if the weather doesn't clear up them i'm going to get caught up on some reading. i havn't been keeping up on future games. anyone have any games i should be looking into?

I agree. i ended up buying some of the extra stuff simply to help a little. i love how they limit the help you can get from items, 2 point per item per area max is great. some of the suits are plain out crazy. actually the crazy suits can max out your golfer but it would suck to sit there watching a guy in a space suit/bunny outfit take on tiger woods.

What the hell kind of jobs do you guys have? I'm working the 'ol 9a-5p and then I have class tonight from 7p-9p.

That pretty much sums up what I'll be doing today.

one shot can mess up all your average stats. its very challenging. i cant tell you how many times one miss hit in shortgame can really screw up the average. Im having a hard time getting them all to 12. right now im at

12 Putting
11.4 Accuracy
11.6 Power
10.1 Short Game (this is killing me)

If I get off work early I'll be unpacking 'Tales of Vesperia'.

Picked it up last night. Everyone said how great it is, although a little nervous if it's going to be too much kiddy humor. Hopefully there is plenty of depth/action.

I'd like to finally play that XB martial arts RPG I bought a while back. But I know I won't get a chance. I prob install some apps and games to the ipod touch I bought recently. the touch is a pretty slick device, altho it lacks a real keyboard.

It actually gets pretty cryptic... unusually so for a JRPG and Tales game.

I don't want to ruin it for you or for anybody else, however, so I'll just keep my mouth shut.

I won't be doing anything xbox related, as my wonderful reliable machine is at the repair center.

Its funny too, I went out today and bought a new game, even though I won't be able to play it for at least another week.

You will not be dissapointed, as KEEBS said it is a great game with a truly great and deep story, all of the characters were fleshed out brilliantly... I myself am just over halfway done and can not wait to beat this game..

Back on Topic: Well I will be doing plenty of rehab work at physical therapy tonight, I just got my knee drained and than got a couple injections of cortizone and something else.. Soo as soon as I get home I will be proppin my leg up than putting in a couple of hours into Tales of Vesperia..

What is the Xbox bringing you with a full day of down time? I never experienced a full day of down time on the ps3. Defintely a couple hours once every few months but that's it. You guys getting something big? Sorry if I missed the big news but...well...I must have missed it.
