Default Haze Will Run at 60FPS.

Little Haze gameplay here for ya. Doesn't look groundbreaking whatsoever, but the more console shooters we have @ 60FPS is a good thing IMO. I'll give it a day one rent, but I'll hold off on a purchase until I get some time with it.

Don't discount due to the graphics, the frame rate and gameplay will do wonders for it once it makes it to your TV. Trust me.

Plus, it's designed by Free Radical. The creators of GoldenEye for N64 (they left Rare), and TimeSplitters series for PS2. I loved all those games, so I imagine this game will be good.

I'm just happy to see it running at 60FPS to be honest. COD4 is the only other console shooter to do so on the PS3. 360 has COD2,3,4 all running at 60FPS.

Wonder if Epic can get Gears 2 to run at 60FPS. If so 360 fans are in for a treat. I played it first on 360 @30fps, then on my PC at >80FPS, and there is a night and day difference.

Hoo-ray for all games running at 60fps!!!!

IMO should be MANDATORY for next gen games.

It's not quite as straightforward as "the creators of GoldenEye" it's about 50/50 with half of GoldenEyes creative talent remaining at Rare (at that time, I believe they bailed when Microsoft took over). But TimeSplitters 2 was one of the best games last gen and the others weren't too bad. I was hoping/expecting it to be 60fps fullstop really though, given their track record last gen.

I also agree, that it will look far far better when it's hooked up in HDMI to a nice HD display than it appears on these videos as generally 60fps alone is enough to make something look fantastic, even if the detail isn't as good as many 30fps games. I'm actually considering picking up Haze on day of release when it comes out here in the UK (I believe we get it before the US ). All you need to remember, is the stick Metroid Prime got before release for it's "N64 graphics".

In Free Radical I trust!
