Post your CoD4 classes

considering we are pretty split between 360 and PS3 owners but mostly all play CoD4, post your custom classes (and brief explanation if you're feeling adventurous).

Primary Class:
M16 Red Dot Sight (Red Tiger Camo)
Gold Desert Eagle
Bandoleer
Stopping Power
Deep Impact
i find this setup to suit my style perfectly. i try for mostly mid to long range combat and i find the M16 to be the best gun for it. Bandoleer comes in handy for sustaining long kill streaks without needing to pick up other weapons as well as giving the freedom to take chances on guys far away. nothing is better than killing a sniper that is trying to take you out across the map with an assault rifle.

Anti-Helicopter:
M60 LMG(just iron sight right now as i don't have the Red Dot)
Frag x3
Stopping Power
Deep Impact
this is specifically designed in case there is an enemy helicopter in the air and is pretty effective at taking it out. usually takes a little over 50 rounds by my estimation, but is much more accurate than the RPG.

so, what do you guys use?

I have to admit, I'm a camper.

So my only difference is I use land mines. Nothing feels better than to hear that little click, boom +10

I always use-

M16 w/ ACOG scope
P90 w/ red dot
stun grenades
Overkill
Martyrdom

For long distance shooting I use the M16. If I go into a close-quarters area, I pull out the P90. The P90, for me, is the only worthwhile SMG. The rest have too much recoil.

I think the Mini Uzi doesn't have enough rounds in a clip though, but I'm not sure. It sure feels like it. I've been in situations where I end up dying in a close-quarters firefight because I ran out of ammo so quickly.

i change weapons per stage and mode. i usually play team tactical. my current weapons are

M4 with silencer
p90 with silencer
mp5 with silencer
ak74u with silencer

perks used for all:
Extra Ammunition (i forgot the name of the perk)
Stopping power
dead silence (god i love this one)

i did try use UAV jammer instead of stopping power, though it make me less noticeable (less deaths).. i also had less kills because it would take forever to kill people.

Perk 1-Claymore x 2 (so when im sniping cats can sneak up on me)
Perk 2-Stopping Power
Perk 3-I switch between Dead Silence and Martyrdom
When i really what ta get ugly i find that the RPD/Red Dot Sight does the job rather nicely!!!!

I keep radar jammer
I use the m16 carbine with red dot
and have increased firing from hip accuracy

Add M16 with silencer to my list too. i forgot to add that one..

yes glow, dead silence is you make less noise when moving. however the real deal to this perk is YOU MAKE ZERO NOISE WHEN MOVING. its the best thing ever, i use my 5.1 surround and a good volumn so i ALWAYS know if an enemy is moving somewhere around me. this perk changed my life (figure of speech). and of course i always need my extra ammo.. i cant see how people dont use this.. you get such little ammo with these weapons that you literally have to pick up another weapon from a dead body all the time.. thats a waste of time for me as some weapons i really hate. and i will never touch a sniper gun, for some reason me and sniper guns in ANY!! fps game just dont work hand in hand. its not my aiming, not my accuracy(cause its good) but it just doesnt work out for me.

problem with m16(and the other large rifle guns) is that its not fast enough, i can turn around and kill someone a hundred times faster with something like the P90. its the mobility and fire rate.. being that it only has 3 burst shots, you have to have very good accuracy and pretty much "dead aim" at someone to kill them with the 3 burst shots.. other then that they will usually start sprinting at the moment they get the first hit and then the other 2 bullets end up missing them. its also not a good weapon of choice for close encounters.

every gun obviously has its advantages and disadvantages; the most important thing is that you use the gun as it should be. while the P90 is really good in close quarters, the high rate of fire can prevent you from getting kills at longer ranges as there is more kickback. i rarely go into close quarters with the M16 because that is not its strong point; in fact, the M16 is fantastic at just about every range except close. the M4 is better for close range as it can go fully automatic, but you lose power as well as the burst fire, which is pretty good at long range as 3 bullets are fired with minimal kick.
