of course duhh... its like having a PS3 only website do a review of lair and giving it a 9.5. c'mon. lol .. i dislike those websites that only focus on one console and do reviews for them, of course they're going to give high scores for almost all of its own games.

Wow, the hype sounds real.

I remember reading that some feel games are getting too hard...nice to know thats not the case with H3, as developers walk a truly fine line between being too easy and too hard.

team xbox has been fairly consistant to what other reviewers have said about the same games. but in this case i can see why anyone would question it because it is their flagship title.

Heh, no Ed they do slam alot of 360 games which rate very poor. Even with Halo 3 they say it's not perfect. I find they rate games pretty fair.

I wouldn't have expected anything less, as I found that TXB has given fair reviews about a year after the launch of the X360. If you look through their archive of reviews, you'll find many X360 games(some even exclusive) that they totally ripped a new one. The different between Lair and this game is that one game was a HUGE disappointment, and the other appears to be on file to compete against Bioshock for GOTY awards. The multiplayer part of H3 alone is going to be enough to get any Halo fan to pop a stiffy. Who said that developers will only make the single player or multiplayer good, but not both? This appears to be a good case of what you can expect when you combine talent(the key word here) that only a large flow of cash can buy. With multiplayer this good, I just hope that Microsoft has enough bandwidth available on XBL for all the games that will be played when people subscribe to the gold level membership.

Graphics wise, it appears that everyone's answers have been answered. There were some doubters, but graphics like this will be surprising if the levels are as big as I am reading in all of the reviews. There is a difference between pushing stunning graphics in a game with relatively small levels, and then pushing stunning graphics in a game with massive levels.

Audio wise, i'm glad to hear that the audio is top notch as I would have expected from the talent they have. We live in an age where video games can sometimes cost more than movies to develop, and i'm wondering what the final cost of developing Halo 3 was not including the money spent on marketing?

9.5 was the LOWEST score I've seen. Lots of 10's, a few 9.7's.
