MLB 2K7 - Pre order now from Toys R Us for $30?

Someone correct me if I'm looking at this wrong, but...

MLB 2K7 Toys-R-Us Pre-Order page

This looks to me like you can reserve this and pay ONLY $29.99?

I'm thinking they've made a mistake in their listing and this is supposed to be listed as the regular XBOX version. Wonder if they'd honor the mistake on their end if you reserved this as listed?

edit: This is not spam, I am a supermod on a site dedicated to running leagues on Xbox live. (see address in sig) I am on this site often, but most of my questions are answered, so I haven't needed to post until now. I just wanted to spread the love to some of the gamers here.

I just preordered it for $34 with shipping not even 30 minutes before I posted that. I should have not sat on my hands all morning, my bad.
If the quality of NBA2k7 is any indication of what we should expect from the MLB series, than I have no worries. Last season was iffy at best when playing online, but I am giving then the pass because it was their first attempt at Next Gen. The HD trailers at 2ksports.com look sharp.

Oh.. I haven't seen the trailers, I know last year I couldn't play that game though. NBA2K has always been upper echelon though if you ask me.

they took down the 360 version. it was probaly a mistake so you might get a email soon about it. the psp version is 29.99.

i was talking to this guy online about the tv i had at the time (toshiba crt list $1200) and target messed up the online price and listed it as $400 just days after i bought mine. well this guy bought 4 of them and target was forced to give him all four at that price. i had also read in a few forums of people seeing the same add and bought a few themselfs. good job finding this messup and taking advantage of it. i know i followed the link looking to pre order quickly.

Yeah, It was posted on our site last night, but I was unaware of the gaming section on this site until today. I must have been lost in the thousands of post about OTA antennas too long.

i wonder how much they lost over that mistake. if they try to say it was a mistake then tell them to bad. they would do the same thing to you.

MMMM...! I love the 2k baseball series and yea yea last year was pooper but Im pretty sure this year will be much better. Atleast in the trailers you can recognize players by their face and Ichiro is actually asain

PS....you could finish games in last year installment with the patch that was available on XBL...after I DL'd the patch never had another problem,other than the games poor play.

i hated fielding 100% in last years game. to many bad routs taken by the fielders and that dam momentum in the field made it harder make up for the comps. mistakes. playing in fenway park was a joke with that huge right/center gap or the fact that you couldnt see if the ball was gonna hit or go over the wall.

what i loved about mvp was the minor league system. you could watch a guy develop and physicaly see his stats. in mlb you have no idea if the minors system really made any difference other then to have more players signed to your team. i hope with the new ea developer he brings back that feature. it brought a long term playability to the game.

i agree totally with illgodson.... the fielding was horrible and made the game, to me, totally unplayable. I was an mvp man and was sorry i couldnt play it anymore. I went with The Show, and that was pretty good. Now with a 360, my only option is mlb 2k7, so i'm hoping its improved very much. But not counting on it......

I have some cinfidence in this year....something about one of the devs is from some other games or something and the trailers look nice so we'll see,all about the mechanics man

he is the one who made the mvp series what it became. he already said instead of building the game from stratch he was gonna take the build and improve it by fine tuning it. there not gonna add features just to advertise them so the game would sell. to me thats alot of time to fine tune a game that had potential but didnt come together as well as it should have.

what really made this game more was the running. you had to tell each player what base to go to which sucked. i cant tell you how many times i hit a double only to forget to tell the guy sitting on second to run to third or home. i hope they spend alot of time with the running a.i. and fielding then this game could be as good as it could be at this stage.

Yea I hear that....the running was goofy. Im hoping the fine tuning will help the game along, yea he was from MVP right? Thats what thought but didnt wanna say it then sound like an idiot
