I don't think they spun it at all. Last I read it specifically said they were having issues with the number of downloads. That's not spin - its truth. Poor planning too or poor estimation.

And FYI - I don't know about others, but whenever I see M$, it just makes me think less of the poster. We're not in middle school.

M$ (as well as most companies) uses that standard excuse to turn a negative into a positive... "Wow we had no idea the demand would be so high!"

I'm downloading V for Vendetta as we speak. about 25% done so prob about 1 1/2 - 2 hours. It is 6.1 gb. Most are around the 5gb range give or take.

Not all content is HD. Only about half or even less of the movies are in HD. Same goes for the shows. "No punkd or Pimp my ride in HD"

SD movies in real dollars cost about 2- 3 bucks for rental and HD movies are about $5 for rental.

Hope the info helps.

Only thing that concerns me is download times. Thats just too much to be practical for a feature length hd movie. Im assuming these are sent as compressed packets, but can we expect the files to become smaller? I know this seems arrogant and unrealistic, but I just cant see it taking off if you cant download a loss-less hd movie in under 15 minutes.

No they are not. Some people thought that this would be there chance to finally see them in HD. So I was just pointing out the fact that they are not broadcast in HD and they are not HD on XBL either.
