Default Halo 3 Available for Pre-Order

Wow the release date is a year from now...go figure.

As per TeamXbox:

Halo 3 Available for Pre-Order, Prices Revealed
By: César A. Berardini - "Cesar"
Nov. 1st, 2006 3:05 pm

Today, EBGames started to take pre-orders for the three editions of Halo 3, revealing also the prices of the three flavors of Halo 3.

The regular edition has a retail price of $59.99, which doesn't come as a surprise after Gears of War became the first Microsoft Game Studios game to sell for 60 bucks. The next one is Collector's Edition, for which EBGames has no info yet on the material included but it does has a price: $69.99.

Finally, the Halo 3 Legendary Edition, which comes packed into a Halo Spartan Mjolnir Mark VI Helmet replica will sell for $99.99.

In the case of the Legendary Edition, the retailer has some info on the goodies included:

Behind-the-scenes at Bungie Studios with new insights into the Halo Universe and the making of Halo 3.

A special hi-res collection of all cinematics from Halo 1 and Halo 2 with director commentary from the Bungie Team bonus.

Community content from Red vs. Blue, This Spartan Life and Exclusive Gamer Tiles & a Theme.

Each unit will be serialized for added individuality and collectability

It is worth clarifying that all editions have the same release date: November 1, 2007.

Tell us in the comments section how much are you planning to spend to finish the fight.

Any chance it will come out earlier? I can see myself getting the legendary version, it will be my pleasure to support such a solid studio like Bungie

More hype to steal some of the thunder of PS3 launch. I won't be shocked a game play trailer is "leaked" next week

Bungie has already said that there will be some new screenshots and videos coming in the next couple weeks. EGM will have a 17 page preview of Halo 3 in their Dec. issue which should be in-stores Nov. 14.

I pre-ordered the Legendary Edition today.

I preordered the Legendary as well. Having a chance to own a replica of a part of Master Chief's armor is awesome for those of us who are Halo fans. The cute girl at EB told me today that the Legendary is likely to be a limited production run.

Off topic, but does anyone know where I can preorder some Master Chief action figures? I'm also looking for some action figures or plush dolls of the Covenant as well. EB and Gamestop no longer are selling them, and i'm having trouble finding anyplace online that sells them. I'm not wierd, as I just want to have them in my collection.

Yes it will be Limited production, so limited that Bungie is putting numbering codes on all of them.

Try eBay for the action figures. They tend to have a good amount.
