We are most certainly in a 'roughtime' and that's mostly to thanks the Uber-Liberal Obama years, creating a generation of demanding handouts, without the desire, nor the ability to work to support themselves. If you been trying to read through the Media bullshit to one thing that stands out alarmingly obvious, is when reporters are on Campus's interviewing students(and I use that term literally)with simple questions 'like' asking them to identify former VP Joe Biden and only one out of more than a dozen knew or at least made a guess.
There only a handful of truly qualified Democratic candidates and those are being outshouted by the ClintonRadicalUpsetters. Man if we don't pull together soon .....We're up Shitz creek !

I read that quick and thought it said: "I like to think of deeply held beliefs like shits".
And I would certainly agree with that...

It doesn't help there's nothing really spectacular going on in the gaming community. I mean, even with E3, the most spectacular part of the whole event was what? And I'm asking because I didn't see anything spectacular. MS's new console will be a niche market at that price point, and Bethesda is releasing yet another version of Skyrim. That was seemingly their biggest announcement. Horrible. I don't remember seeing any new games that excited me as other E3's have in the past.

And as far as politics, there's no point in discussing since we're almost all on the same page anyway.

I never played the first one, so I wasn't really intrigued to watch this one. Do I need to have played the first one to enjoy it?

Nope it is an old PS2 game and this no prior knowledge of the original is needed (it was a 2003 game so they are almost on pace with valve and HL3)

But first, some clarification: while they bear the same name, this Beyond Good & Evil 2 and the one originally unveiled a decade ago are different games. Initially, the game was planned as a sequel, continuing the intrigue-laden story that turned the first Beyond Good & Evil into a beloved cult classic. Eventually, Ancel and his team at Ubisoft’s Montpellier studio decided to switch directions and create a prequel. The idea was to build an experience that could be enjoyed by anyone, regardless of whether or not they played the first game.

For your quote regarding it... Setting it as a sequel also sets them up for a re-release "remastered" edition.

I think AssCreed:Origins might draw me back into that series. Looks interesting enough, especially since I've skipped everything since Black Flag.
