I love Monoprice cables and I have two of their stands (three if you include the one at my mother's), a few of their adapters, and two of their hubs/switches -and I've had zero issues with any of them.

But...this...I dunno:

The price is FUCKING AMAZING!!! That's a 1440p 27" LED Monitor for <$400. I was price checking one (since I got an itch to upgrade something) and the cheapest I could find was $600 ball park.

I'm debating buying one and being the test subject. Monoprice can move a ton of these units IF they are reliable. If you guys ever saw the Catleap craze, people were importing ~$500 monitors from Korea with shitty support around the enthusiast forums like crazy.

Need to do more research. If I can sell my Samsung for $200 to my BFF then I can easily pick one of these up. ZOMG!!!

Yerp, I read that and since I would only be using this for gaming, it matters not. After tasting 3D on my ASUS, I've decided that it is something I'm not interested in either. The higher resolution would add natural AA to all my games and give my HD 7970 some more work to do, that and more screen real estate (which I love!)

You are not factoring in the cost of a telescope to view that tiny screen.

I can't imagine gaming hunched over at a desk. How do you recline your chair?

50" or more for me...

Coloring can be an issue, at least I think so, but perhaps that is more the monitor issue. I can't get my Samsung to look as rich as my ASUS>.

That and DVI-D has more bandwidth and you can't use the higher resolutions through standard HDMI.

Um... no. Every PC gaming nerd secretly wishes they had a 50" Elite plasma to game on and a nice couch setup with full theater quality surround sound. They hunker over their desks getting sore backs and carpel tunnel and they swear they prefer to have their nose touching the screen, but deep down, whether they know it or not, every PC gamer would rather have a setup like this.

The extra pixels don't make the picture quality better than the Elite, which is still the best picture quality of any display ever released to the public.

I only use monitors for things like Le WoWz and SW:TOR. Everything else goes on the big screen...

Well gamepad friendly stuff is what I mean.
