Default Borderlands 2 Being Released For Mac

I know that at least one person here has a Mac but no gaming PC, so I'm posting this.

This year's GOTY (IMO) is coming to Mac November 20th:

http://blog.gameagent.com/aspyr-anno...c-november-20/

It's a pretty scalable game, it should be able to run without extreme horsepower.

Also, the comments in the article say you can play co-op with your PC friends.

That is hands down, the fastest port Aspyr has EVER done on a PC game. So given how their normal (read: slow as turtles fucking in molasses) lead times for ports are a minimum of 6 months, I'm really curious how they got this done so quickly. COD4 took 15 months I think.

But all of this said, Aspyr Mac games are typically not only released WAY after their PC counterparts, but they're also bug ridden POS's.

I don't get the point. This isn't really a game that you can play in a coffee shop. You need to invest real time into it.

The appropriate response would be "didn't you know Rambo, Mactards LIVE in coffee shops!"

Meh. Really? Have you started drinking yet?

You're jabs are normally much better than that.

You're aware Aspyr has a number of different studios, right? And you know how Macs are, some games will be buggy as hell on one Mac and fine on another- specs be damned. I haven't played many of Aspyr's games but I thought I remember their port of COD4 was generally well-reviewed and the most popular Mac MP game.

No, and I didn't drink last night (first night in probably 5 years). Turns out I'm useless w/out alcohol

An oxymoron if there ever was one.

I actually didn't know they had multiple studios. But that said, the experiences I've had were with SimCity 4 and RollerCoaster Tycoon 3. Being they were both simulation games, I'll wager it was probably the same team for both. What I know, is they were both complete POS's. Neither one of them worked well at all. Even on a mac that exceeded the requirements by two-fold they still ran at about 15-20 FPS, and also had a ton of collision and "click" bugs.

So i'd be very wary about a port of Borderlands 2 that they achieved so quickly. Hopefully I'm wrong.

Yeah I've kinda been letting them go lately... Eiger had one in the Halo thread that I ignored. He said "your nerdier than..."

I might just throw some instructions in my sig for a few months, maybe everyone will catch on.

While you're at it could you please include instructions on the difference between "hanged" and "hung", as well as the proper use of "couldn't care less". Thanks
