I was supposed to have the day off, instead I go to work and deal with fuckwits, my wife goes to the doc and finds out she's got pnemonia, and now this shit. Sequel to my favorite game is out and all I can play is this crappy status bar. Been looking at it since 2:45 and probably won't stop til it's done.

I don't even get those high of speeds on my work connection, which is AT&T Elite DSL @ 6mbps. I get about 600k at work, and only 200k at home (1.8mbps)

When Crysis 2 production began, a lot of people originally thought that the PS3 version was going to have superior graphics. This is awesome for us X360 owners who now know for sure that yet another multiplatform games looks superior. For those of us who only have the X360 console, it is good news. As terrible as the graphics are on the PS3, IGN still gave it the same overall score as the 360 version. I suppose it's IGN's duty when the entire website is littered with C2 ads and placed on C2 wallpaper.

Anyway, a friend of mine played it and said the graphics are damn good, even on the inferior PS3.

I'm going to buy this game eventually, but I want to know if the MP is any good and I can't find anyone saying it's better than average. I want MP impressions from those of you who are picking this up. If the MP is just average, I will wait until I can buy this on the cheap.

Game is almost identical between PS3 and 360. Again, the demo and the entire multiplayer portion of the game is developed by Free Radical (now Crytek UK).

The campaign is a whole different beast. Check the vid in the OP.

In layman's terms, there are more jagged edges in the PS3 version of the game, and things get choppy more often than its 360 counterpart, which hurts controller response. The 360 is not immune to this, it just doesn't happen as often.

Oh and look back at the qoute for the 360 it says "best graphics for a console game" for the 360 maybe then for the PS3 its says "PS3 gamers expect more" so twist it how you want but who is the desperate ones trying to justify there console? It doesnt say anywhere its the best on the PS3 does it? Even if it is uncharted 3 will no doubt crush the shit out of it. Oh and i guess everyone forgets they have to develope the console versions for the WEAKER system because if they did it the other way around they couldnt port it over. sad

360 version has horrible black crush too. PS3 has higher texture res and better volumetric lighting. 360 is slightly higher resolution and slightly better frame rate.
