Lightbulb Indie Developer Kick starts Game, Orion:Prelude

Spiral Game Studios began their Kickstarter campaign in order to raise funds to develop and publish ORION: Prelude on 360, PS3 and PC via digital distribution. Kickstarter allows entrepreneurs to create their dream project by funding through their peers, the money is only collected from the donations if the Kickstarter final goal is met. For an indie game, this looks very good. I'd buy it.

That would look good if the year were 1998

Honestly for being pre-alpha and made in six weeks that's really good looking.

True, plus its a download only, indie game. I hope its successful so more games are made without the politics and control of the big publishers.

There's a reason why developers don't show off their productions until they are nearing completion!

For 6 weeks dev time thats fantastic. Gamers have no issue with alpha builds and for gamer funded projects like this they're needed to show what their money is supporting.

Bein a bit cranky aren't u Rambo? They done something to upset you?

This is the sorta thing the industry needs to rejuvinate it.
