How long, pray tell, do you think it will take for it to reach that number of sales? I think COD sales will remain strong for nov-jan as PS3 owners luv their frat boy shootaz.

While GT5 will have legs, but for how long? The bundles at launch will help it tho... BTW people "BOUGHT" 360 for forza, as its the great american racing sim

though there is a difference between the GT3 bundles there were, and the Forza 3 bundles there are now/have been for the past 12 months.

People BOUGHT the PS2 for GT3 (I know people who only owned GT3). People are just getting Forza 3 included with their 360, it's a little bit of extra value in the bundle, but I don't think it's the product making them want the 360. There's not the same outright "need this game" factor to Forza that GT3 had.

Holy crap did I just see the thread go from GT5 vs Forza to GT5 vs Call of Duty? WTF!?

Is that how things are now that you can't win the debate on the merit of your preferred franchise that you have to jump the fence to a completely different genre by a game that isn't even made by your preferred company just to 1 up your opponenet? Holy fuck!

Cyg took a page right out of the MS Hand Book, I recall Kinect being put up against the iPad. haha.

Anybody who's decent with a wheel will probably own you rocking a controller (unless you're absolutely fantastic with that controller) I wouldn't worry too much though.

From my own memory of History Sony has a habit of launching 1st party titles on Thursdays not Tuesday with every other publisher.

This ties to their THursday PSN updates. And of course games like God of War have their own special day (March 13th.)

I think the Wednesday is just a side effect of Thanksgiving.

Oh damn when did that happen? haha. Well, probably to compete with XBL's Tuesdays updates right?

Well, I know historically most Sony published games launch on a Thursday (depending on the region of course) and when the US is the first to release it has it on a Thursday.
