Any tips on getting gold in B10 I can't get better than fourth right on the pack. Last bronze left to improve in B.

It is if you want the achievement and the unique cars that come with it. And come on it's only the B license. Shouldn't be so hard to get at least silver. /blah

I picked up a 61' Jag Coup last night, it's pretty bad ass. Just sucks that even though the used market was like 30K credits, you need to put another 40K or so into it to fix the engine, change the oil, ignore the rigidity and do racing upgrades. Still, bad ass.

Also, I started on B-Spec, man is that boring.

You have to draft them to win first. And I mean at all times. Draft other cars through the straights, and then do it again in the corners. It's the only way you'll get up enough acceleration to overtake them before the finish.

I wish there was a list of the vehicles you could actually do Racing Upgrades to.

1.05 patch is up

608mb.

Game save can be backed up.

Online races give credits and experience.

4hour and 24 hour endurance unlocked in practice and arcade for silver in intermediate AMG driving school.

Some new cars unlocked in events. AMG school being one of them depending on placing.

Mechanical damage in practice mode.

Restart replays. A Back To Top button instantly restarts a replay from the beginning. Without the GT logo loading screen.

HUD can be disabled, either show all/hide all or hide instruments.

Replay race events without having to exit.

Online Dealership. Seems to have some of the rare vehicles that are hard to find in Used Dealership. Shows 12 cars including two trucks (Tacoma X Runner '04, RAM 1500 Laramie) the Veyron and Formula Gran Turismo. Prices don't look any different.

Seasonal Events button on GT Life screen. It has 3 events, Bonus Race 1, Time Trial No.1 and Drift Trial running until January 5th. Bonus Race 1 is over 5 races ranging from 200,000 crs and 15,000 xp up to 1,000,000 crs and 100,000 exp with HP limits ranging from 65hp (race 1) to 493 hp (race 5). Time Trial and Drift Trial both have online rankings. I assume new events will come afterwards.

The Veyron just doesn't have the handling to compete with those cars. I can always out accelerate the competition with it, but it just doesn't handle for dookie compared to the lightness of the racers. And the Xanavi 350 Z I have doesn't have the HP to keep up.

A modified street car is hard to make comparable to a custom built race car... even with a good driver!

It is a pretty substantial update, and yes it's good that its free. I think we'll see $DLC in the future though, but that's okay as long as it's good for the price.

Exactly... Sometimes you can muscle your way through it just using brute force, but at the higher levels now, that philosophy just won't cut it. That's why I was really disappointed that no matter what I did to try and make up for the lightness factor, it just ended up with me all over the road to make up for it.

I don't know that I'll participate in any $DLC. But to me, the only thing that would be worth paying for is some super special car. I don't think I would pay for new tracks, and I certainly won't pay for new modes etc.

What about a DLC with new modes on new tracks with special cars that you have to use in them? In an online competition?
