PSN subscriptions for 2010

I prefer the ps3 controller proberly because i am soooo used to the layout what with the psone and ps2 being my consoles of choice the last 2 generations. I also prefer the internal battery over the 360 AA battery requirements, and I feel the analogue sticks are looser and more sensitive than the 360. However I can fully understand how a lot of people prefer the 360 controller as it fits very snuggly in one's hand and your fingers dont slip off the triggers like they do sometimes on the ps3 controller.

They do, if you only play for 30 minutes a fortnight. A pair of rechargable AA batteries will give about 20 hours of game play time. Many "dedicated" gamers that you love so much, could easily manage that in a weekend. Buying a decent set of rechargable AA batteries and a recharger actually costs as much as a play and charge kit.

ANYTHING 2D styled the PS3 pad is superior for, it has a D pad that actually... you know... WORKS! That is a royal balls up on MS' part what given that XBLA has some fantastic 2D titles, yet the pad is completely useless for them. The triggers aren't that great, the Gamecube pad was better for racing games etc. The 360 pad is best for FPS games which is fortunate given its the primary genre on the console
