No More Heroes coming to 360/ps3!!!

And that's about all we know at this stage, other than a supposed title, No More Heroes: Heroes Paradise.

But we can't say that No More Heroes making the high-definition transition from the Wii to the PS3/360 is much of a surprise. Grasshopper lead Goichi Suda has previously expressed his interest in bringing Travis Touchdown and crew to other consoles.

And, considering Suda's interest in Project Natal—and presumably Sony's PS3 motion controller—the No More Heroes franchise seems like a no-brainer kind of port.

This was a solid mature title for the Wii, so it should appeal to HD gamers as it has plenty of laser swords, lots of limb loss & blood, f-bombs, and you get to bang a hot chick... GLOW should like this announcement, I think him and I were the only ones to give this game a try..

I don't think it'll be a major seller on PS3 or 360 tbh. It's the wrong sort of game. Personally can't wait to play it how it was originally envisioned (it started life as a 360 title until nobody in Japan bought one).

This is pretty damn awesome news, but I'm not really interested in the PS wand at this point. We'll see. You can probably play with a gamepad. The No More Heroes series is great, can't wait to see/play it in HD

The art style deserves an HD makeover, it looked like a PS2 game on the Wii...

Its out in January in Japan on 360 and PS3 so wont require (if it uses it at all) motion controls... unless they have the six axis doin the wanking... I mean sword recharging on the PS3 ver.

Hmmm... they just announced it and it's already coming out in Japan in less than 2 months? Granted, they do have the no blood version so I assume it would be a finished product before the bloody western version goes gold. There is a hell of a lot of blood in NMH and I fear framerate issues, particularly on the PS3 version...

A buttery-smooth 60fps would be nice for this one.

When was this report published? I remember a while back the comment about NMH2

S being the last Wii title and looking forward to a jump to HD and everyone thought this meant a PS360 game. But a report I read just a month ago was an interview with Suda how NMH2 is the last on this generation of the Wii, he wants to wait for the next edition (with HD) in order to bring out a NMH3 but wants to keep THIS a Nintendo exclusive franchise.

I cannot get on the link due to my companies firewall.

PS3 could do it. Does the 360 actually have a light gun? As for those screens... if thats how small the difference is, I hope they concentrated on 60fps for the frame rate. Because considering the monumental graphical leap the systems are capable of, they're borderline straight ports. :S
