Default $100 360 this Weekend at Wal Mart?

$200 360 with $100 giftcard at Wal Mart

Rumour has it Wal Mart will be doing the 360 Arcade for $200 with a $100 gift card. Not bad at all for somebody after a replacement 360 or wanting to dabble with HD gaming but not arsed about the online side.

And you don't have to worry about getting banned of XBL too! No HDD, no modding!

I might pick this up for my nephews, at almost 9 years of age (the oldest) bout time they left the Wii behind and became men! Next Gen on the cheap, you can't beat that!

Quick question . . I would love to pick up an extra xbox, if only to use it as a media extender (running a home network, with a PC as my tv tuner, DVR, DVD library etc).

Does anyone have experience using multiple XBOXs as media extenders?

I probably should consider this, I fear mine is going to RRoD on me again at the worst possible time. How pathetic is it that many of us feel the need to have a back-up console do to the poor reliability of the hardware?

At least take to heart it's so cheap now! It's the economist's Console of choice! (Just don't add the multiple purchases )

I think I might buy two and mod one. I don't play online anyways why do I give a flying squirrel if I get banned.

MW2 has brought me back to piracy! ZOMG!!!!

So if I do this and let my wife use the gift card on groceries or whatever, it's pretty much like I got a free 360? Good way to spin it.

Best Buy SHOULD price match this according to there policy on price matching.

I have price matched GC before but I had to tell, and show the manager of the store their own policy.

As long as it is in stock at the local store of the price match, then it should be done.

I printed out a copy of thier policy online. 10 minutes later, and a little persistance, they agreed.

What I guessing from the incredibly great prices on all the equipment listed, this is going to be part of the Walmart Black Friday trample freak show. So doubt the price match gig applies there... But wish it did.
