Rebuilt 700R4 three speed automatic with overdrive tranmission, $400, plus three hours labor to modify drive line and cross member, and install. Not a bad deal considering how much lower first gear will be (IE much more torque off-the-line), and the overdrive gear will give me a much better top-end (as it were).
