Attaching a laptop to a Panasonic PT50DL54 50" Widescreen DLP HDTV

Hello,

I recently purchased a Panasonic PT50DL54 50" Widescreen DLP HDTV and attempted to hook up my laptop to it via an rca cable (my laptop has a yellow-video output on it). Now the screen came up on my TV but it was all fuzzy and bad quality. I was extremely surprised at this fact, as this TV is supposed to be high quality picture. Is this happening because I didn't use an RGB cable to attach my laptop or is it the case that even if I use an RGB cable to attach my laptop the screen displayed on the TV will still be of fuzzy bad quality?

I would greatly appreciate any help in this matter.

You should try posting this in the rear projection forum to increase your chances of a response.This is the "front projection" forum that uses screens in sizes upwards of 100".
