Default Projector screen dealers and economical theater seats

Now that I got a projector that works for my situation I want to get a screen. However I want to buy it locally just in case I absolutely hate it. Aside from best buy, circuit city and ABC warehouse does anyone know of any other dealers in Michigan?

Also does anyone have advice on economical theater type seats or just very comfortable seating at a good price? I live near an IKEA maybe I should check them out. I really Like the ones at best buy but they are very expensive a little too bulky for my room.

IKEA is odd store but they carry a lot of stuff, don't forget to try out their meatballs at their indoor cafe, very good!

You need to go to old street wholesale furniture outlets to get a good deal on theater type chairs that come in red, leather and have auto controls for reclinding.. A lot of places will ship them to you by freight, if you can't find a good price locally.

There is special paint that you can use on your wall to be use as a viewing screen and also a white board marker screen. These work excellent. If you can't find a drop down screen. These can be expensive but you already know that..

Thanks for the suggestion. Problem is the wall has kind of a distracting texture.

It is just that I do not want to pay for something, not like it and then have to send it back to the company and have to pay for the shipping.

What size of screen are you looking for? I bought my Da-lite (online) through a link from projectorcentral.com and is the Contour model.

Carada screens are worth every penny. Very helpful people and the quality and service is first rate.

Theater seating - sam's club has a nice three person group in a microfiber for ~900.

I have found that eBay and amazon.com have the best deals on screens as far as I know.

I bought a 69" x 92" 2.5gain Glass Beaded Da-lite Model B manual pull down screen for just $124.80 plus $37.17 shipping, through projector screen central on eBay.

I just used a white sheet first on my uneven wall to find the right size.
Then it was Carada, as they got good test reviews.
Works very well if you don't mind the fixed mount.

I live in the Ann Arbor area and have just sarted looking aound for a front projection system. Local dealers around Ann Arbor are Paragon, Big George's. The Gramophone in Birmingham is supposed to be a home theater dealer but thier web site does not show much in the way of front projection. Alama's in Royal Oak might have some projection gear. I did fine quite a few companies that sell and install systems but do not have a retail store front. I do not have a yellow pages for the other areas around Detroit but am still looking...........good luck
