Default Site Running Slow

The site is running extremely slow for me and a few other members. A few have said that they are timing out between posts. I have run speed tests and checked on other sites to see if I am having a connection problem but this one is the only one I'm having problems with.

Have you deleted the browser's cache and rebooted?

Yep, done that first. Nothing is helping and this is the only site I am having any problems with.

Maybe the site just has something against us east coast guys. I've tried everything, cleaned cache, rebooted. Its just this site that I'm having problems with.

I've had that happen to me before. Don't know what the answer is either.

Try deleting your cookies. Also, if you are using IE you might want to do a manual delete of them to ensure the browser does what you're telling it to.

I'll be looking into these issues today. Thus far, I haven't been able to replicate any of the issues.

I run a speed test today on my download speeds. It is normal. I also cleaned out my cache. Even went in cleaned them out manually. The site seems to be slower tonight than it has been. It takes me several minutes to quote a post with pictures in it.

Try powering down your router and modem then plug them back in after about 30 seconds and see if that helps.

It is definitely running slower for me as well, but not dog slow like this summer when it was hanging though.

Same here I made a couple of post normally then the next one froze up and bumped me off the forum, then after logging backon I experienced difficulty posting again very, very slow and intermitantly bumping me off ?? It's becoming a real pain in the ass.
