Popup sound ads are evil

I don't keep ads turned off or blocked. Generally I don't mind supporting websites and forums that I attend. But I certainly don't need this page throwing a very loud ad for canada or some crap in my face everytime I Load the page. Please consider removing these aggressive ads or at least limiting them to specific areas.

I suspect a lot of ad financed forums obtain ads and ad revenue through a broker and have little control over a specific advertiser's tactics.

I don't mind silent banners, sidebars or even ads spaced within the content I'm interested in. For most bbs systems I'll turn of the ad blocking browser add on I usually use when browsing the web, but I insist on running a script blocking add on that requires my approval before scripts from a domain are allowed to run. I'm willing to authorize a domain or two for a bbs' broker(s) but if the ads would require white listing dozens of advertisers I won't be authorizing them.

Let us know what they are (screenshots are good) and we'll block them -- they are not approved on HDF.
