Hi all,
I have been coming to this website for almost 2 years now, and have found it very handy. I would like to share that I would NEVER purchase anything on here. I'm not sure if the mods feel that the for sale section is valuable. If it is, why not make it a minimum number of posts to sell something...this way you have someone who is a contributing member selling things, and not some joe schmo who logged in to sell something. Also, consider putting a feedback system so someone can comment. As it is, here is a typical for sale ad: Hi, I'm selling my ___________ (Insert item). I want _____ for it because it's high quality but I can't use it anymore due to an upgrade. Joe Schmo Everytime I look at these, I don't give them a second thought, even if it's decent gear. Obviously, if someone wants me to send a payment (Paypal, money order, etc.) I'd like it to be someone who's at least contributing and known around here, and not some random person. Pycroft

I bought a HD DVD player and a bunch of HD DVDs from another member out of that section. It was an established member. I would agree with you that people should be careful about buying there.
