i was at magnoloia and checked out the new Z series panasonic plasma, it is really good looking both in PQ and style (silver color) it would be better with black though, it has wireless HDMI. It is barely 1 inch thick, it runs very cool as compared to SAMSUNG Plasma which was very warm (i could feel the heat a foot from tv). with price tag of 6K i think it is kind of high side. Speakers are on side.
i don't see much of benefit of these 1 inch thin TV sets (at almost double the price), the light weight for wall mount might be the only benefit but if tv is on tv stand there is potential for tip over is very high with kids in home.
