This is very outdated info at best. Fujitzu does NOT make the LCD panels for Sony. Also, Sharp may have a lot of patents on LCD panels/electronics, but this info is false also now and the chips in virtually any display are from many differnt companies.

Equipment is one thing... quality control in assembly and manufacturing, shipping and handling, dealer network, service after the sale and warranty claims handling is a whole other ballgame....
