Panny rep denies that panny has bought Pioneer also states that Panasonic themselves manufactures each component in their sets as opposed to "Vizio which had three different manufacturers making their panels and it was impossible for consumers to determine which panel they were buying"

rep "panny has a less than 2% failure rate for their plasma panels"

Toshiba rep now explaining 240 hz and how Toshiba elects not to manufacture 240hz but sticks with 120 hz and explains that Sonys and Samsung new led sets when displaying in 240hz that 180 of the frames being shown are actually created by the televisions video processing chip and there is a large chance of video artifacts...

Toshiba actuallly turns off the led backlights in a strobe light effect that actually enhances video detail and sharpness fewer artifacts and feels that this answer is superior to creating a set with 240 hz

for any projector enthusiast Epson owns the majority of the patents on 3 lcd projector technology they invented it they sell the technology to other manufactures at a high mark up and so they are able to produce a very good projector at a low cost and they have the best warranty in the business... 3 years, zero dead pixels unlimited hours of use and advance replacement shipping if there is a problem..

ha,ha the projector rep made a joke about the inflated contrast ratios that are used in todays advertising.....but that color saturation ratio numbers can be trusted...
This is a very good show all of you should tune in if possible.....

actually judging the panels now for black level... moderator is telling the judges when viewing the LCD/LED panels that any off axis viewing will produce a halo effect and disrupt their interpretation of black for that display....

Toshiba Pioneer and Samsung have a neat feature which mimic blue filter when adjusting color saturation and tint no need to have your own filter at home worked great in the demonstration....

some of the 240hz sets were having problems on some of the test patterns when fed a 1080i feed however by switching off the 240 hz processing the problem disappeared.......and they are recomending to turn off 240hz processing when viewing a 1080i feed.......
