Default Which plasma to get?

I have problem deciding which plasma to get?
Pioneer 500M which does not have speakers or tuner (I do not need those features.) and still is more expensive then other: Pioneer pdp-5010fd and Panasonic Pc-p54g10 (or v10 if it comes on the market at reasonable price)
More expensive should be better, right ?. How Pioneer 500m is better then other two? Or is it?

Thankx, numan2good.
According to my findings on the internet Pioneer is better then Panasonic. I am interested in Panasonic only because the 54” attracts me, and the price is comparable with other two 50” Pionners.
So let me rephrase my question. How much worse is Panasonic then Pioneer? Will I see a difference?

And the second question then would be: Why Pioneer PDP-5010fd costs less then Pioneer 500M? Is this because of the quality of the picture or else?

I am not planning to use it for gaming neither for dowloading movies from v-cast sites. Viewing distance is about 15'.

I suggest that you try out the New Panasonic line first. Set it up and watch it for a week then exchange it for a Pioneer Pro 111FD Elite from Pioneer (if you can still find one). Make sure you try the Pioneer last because once it comes into your home you will not want it to leave.

http://www.butterflyphoto.com/prodin...688&ref=nextag

Haggle, I know Best Buys online link was still showing the 111fd for $4500.00 but you could walk out of the door with one for $2800.00

I appraciate your discussion, however PRO is out of question because of price.
I would rather see some opinions about Pioneer 500m, and how it compares to Pioneer 5010fd.

Apparently the 500m has the Pro Elite video processing board which gives you more options to adjust the picture and even deeper blacks than the 5010fd
here is the link to Pioneers site and hopefully all of the information needed to compare models......
