Angry Which HDTV set has the (best) EPG display?

I do not know why but alot of HDTV sets do not have EPG for OTA. And EPG is never listed in specs, descriptions, or HDTV reviews. I guess I got spoiled w/ epg on DTVpal/TR-40 converter box, go figure. But which HDTV set has EPG available and or the best gui EPG? I hope all you start bitching to manufactories about this, they will never add it if we do not bitch and moan. All OTA signals is suppose to have PSIP on it , so there is no reason for them not to have an EPG.

HDTV - High Definition TeleVision
OTA - Over The Air
EPG - Electric Programing Guide
PSIP - Program and System Information Protocol

I doubt that you'll see any significant advancement in EPG since most HDTV buyers subscribe to some sort of cable service.

however, that being said, I have had 2 tvs from which I hooked up an antenna to get OTA HD.

1.) Samsung: EPG was always slow, accurate about 90% of the time, but not very user friendly

2.) Vizio: EPG is better, easy to navigate, and quicker

although, I believe that the accuracy and speed are probably more dependent on the signal you are getting rather than the TV itself

Assuming you had them both in your house it might be more about the age of the display and if the Vizio is newer, then that could account for the improvements in the EPG compared to the possibly older Samsung.

I do think ALL mfg need to do more in this regard, and so don't the broadcasters.
