Samsung 50" TV no color on component 1

We have a 50" Samsung TV. It was fine for the first few months. Now when we use component 1, where we have the TIVO cable box we don't have a color image. The Wii on Component 2 is fine. Component 1 goes in and out of color. We were watching last night and it was fine, when i turned it on this a.m. no color.

Thoughts?

Possibly loose cable wires. Plug and unplug the cables on the tivo and the tv and see if it helps.

It sounds like the red & blue cables on either end of the Tivo/TV connection is loose as the likely reason. The black/white signal is the green signal and red/blue add the color overlay.
