Default 50" Plasma Phillips troubleshooting

Can anyone help me figure out why when I turn on the TV it shuts off and the power light (usually Green) blinks red several consecutive times? This just started and when I unplug the TV for a few minutes and plug it back up it will work for a little while and then the next time i attempt to watch it does the same thing? Any suggestions or advice is appreciated!! Thanks, TW

What model plasma is it? The blinking red light is usually a service code (ie. 5 blinks for power suppy, 7 blinks for main board, etc)

Default Red Blinking light code

Philips 50PF7320A/37 Plasma TV shuts down after turned on. 6 steady blinking red light followed by three in quick succession and the cycle repeats. TV will only come on by unplugging and plugging in power cord- i do this around three times before it comes on. What does the red light sequence mean?

Try leaving it unplugged for a couple of hours or overnight and see if that helps. Maybe leaving it unplugged for a longer period will reset the TV.
