Default Smaller Plasmas

Does anyone know where I can get a smaller (32") plasma TV in the states without having to order it online? I am looking for a smaller tv to put into a home office, and 32" would be ideal. I love my panasonic plasma and I would love another. Would also consider LG.

You can pick up the Vizio 32" Plasma (VP322) at walmart for about $427. The actual panel is made by LG I think. However, Vizio announced that they will stop production of their plasmas and focus on their LCDs. So, you'd better pick one up soon if you are truly set on a Plasma for that size. Panasonic, Samsung, Pioneer, nor LG have anything less than 42" in the Plasma product lines.

Thats not entirely true, as both panasonic and LG make plasmas down to the 26" size. They are just primarily for overseas. For example do some looking for the LG 32pg6000, or the panasonic TH-32PZ81. Both have been around in the US, but mostly only in the UK. I am hoping there is a way to get one locally, rather than having to order one online.

I called numerous places and I have conceded that it wont happen with a name I trust. So I went ahead and ordered the Insignia 32" Plasma from BBY. Hope I didnt make a mistake.

Good luck with your purchase. I think you'll be happy. Just as a point, the Insignia is actually basically the same TV as the Vizio, other than some inputs and menu options.

Side: point, I was unaware of the overseas smaller panels. Thanks for the info.
