Default Buying TV online/Black Friday (What can I expect?)

Going for either the Sharp 42" 1080p online from Dell or the Sharp 32" 720p from Costco (depending on how much cash we can put together by next week).

For those of you who have purchased things online during Black Friday or those who may have information, what can I expect?

Can I expect that there may be a limited stock of the TV I want? The 42" Sharp is $799 right now but supposedly dropping to $779 on Black Friday. If for some reason they are out of stock before Black Friday, do they have to guarantee stock on BF for the $779 price?

Also, are said prices likely to appear at midnight, after everyone is full of turkey and stuffing? Is there a chance at all, that even if I refresh the page at midnight, and the $779 price is displayed, that once I click the buy button, the page will display "Item out of stock" due to people with faster clicking fingers?

I want to know if I should bother waiting at my computer and refreshing every 10 seconds, or if I should get out the lawn chairs and bundle up to sit in 20 degree weather for 10 hours somewhere else with a decent TV deal (I waited 10 hours in line for the Nintendo Wii and it was 34 degrees!).

Thank you for your help

You may want to check out this site if you haven't already:

http://bfads.net/

It lists "leaked" Black Friday ads.

You may be able to order online and pick up at the store. Sears, BB, and CC all do it thought they may have some requirements to be in the store for some sales.

Check the Dell ad. I bought the 42" for $799 and it had free shipping. Will next Friday's sale have it? when I bought the TV they added then subtracted the shipping and it was only $35 which seems kind of low.

Anyway, good luck.

Yeah like I and others have done. Check out www.qvc.com website . You may wanna buy a tv on one of their monthly Flex pay plans. It fits many budgets.

I got my 52" for $1494 on a 6 month payment options. $280 a month for 6 months with taxes included.
