hi ,it's my first post here. i have an LG 26LC51 26" lcd tv. it's rated HD Ready but i have a problem.
when i hook it up to my xbox360 via component the screen image is cutted of about 2cm on left and right and about 1.5cm top and bottom. not black bands ,the image is not displayed entirely on the screen ,it's bigger than the screen and the rest is hidden top bottom left right. this happends on all resolutions: 480p 720p and 1080i (1080p is not supported). also this problem occurs even when i hook it up to my pc wia HDMI to DVI (8800GTS) but only in HD resolutions (640x480 ,1280x720 and 1920x1080). in 1366x768 it's fine. the same problem happends with my other LG LCD TV 37LC42 37" also HD Ready. what's the problem with them? i know they are a little old ,but what's with the scaling problem? EDIT: well guess i found the problem. it's the scaleing processor ,since it's not "HD Ready 1080p" ,it uses the XD Engine to scale the 1080p to 1080i which results to a 3-5% image loss. damn i need a Vierra...sry for the stupidish question ,but i didn't knew ,and i've been searching for an answer for the past few weeks and found it today.
