Default motion correction technology?

I was into best buy the other day and saw that samsung "pirates of the carribian" demo where it shows of samsung's version of faster framerate tech....motion flow I think? I know the demo was dvd based and not real time, but I could see a drastic differance on the split screen, it actually made the image more lifelike. it would be nice if this technology was this drastic of an improovement. I have NOT noticed any differance in picture quality in any other brands so called framerate improovement tech....not impressed? is samsung's realtime image quality this good or was it a way missleading demo? what about sony's new "thearter motion" whatever??? been out of the loop for a while.....just wondering?

I think split screen demos are fake a misleading. Obviously the TV is not in 60hz mode on one side and 120hz mode on the other. In the real world, I can't see the difference between two side by side sets, on being 60hz and the other being 120hz. But that's just me.

I can tell the difference when its on, but not in a good way, the Sony XBR5 adds a freakish look to motion when its turned on. I prefer how plasma renders motions :]
