Default [NEW] Sharp "Special Edition" 46SE94U with 8 Stuck Pixels [NEW]

SHARP MODEL NO. LC-46SE94U (Special Edition)
SSN# 802XXX

Where's the Sharp Quality Control??

The Liquid Crystal panel is a very high technology product with 2,073,600 thin film transistors, giving you fine picture details. Occasionally, a few non-active pixels may appear on the screen as a fixed point of blue, green or red.

Is this acceptable??..for a Sharp LCD 46SE94U with 8 Stuck Pixels...Brand New outta box, just got it yesterday.

I will still have to decide if I should (or not) exchange for another one without any Stuck/Dead Pixels...

Anyone?? Any Stuck/Dead Pixels on Sharp LC-XXSE94U (Special Edition)??

Anyone?

Bring it back. 8 is not acceptable and I don't think even 1 is on a brand new set.

Wow, thats honestly terrible. I very rarely even see one dead pixel. Clearly someone was not paying attention when this panel was given the green light to be shipped, take it back.

I have bought 6 LCD panels, 2 tv's, and 4 computer monitors in the past 8 years. I have not got 1 stuck, or dead pixel yet, and neither should you. If the retailer you bought it from won't exchange it, or help you, then contact the Sharp Aqous Advantage website, or service center # 1-877-332-7867. I would be hard pressed to believe that they would say that 8 pixels are acceptable. Good Luck, and let us know how you make out.
