Default Connecting Bose Lifestyle 12 to Sony HDTV

Happy New Year everyone -

I am considering replacing an old 35" Sony Trinitron with a Sony 40" HDTV. I currently have an older Bose Lifestyle 12 system, which still works very well.

Is there any way to physically connect the three sets of front Bose speakers to the HDTV set itself? I'm not talking about the wiring - that's easy, but where can I physically locate the three double cubes!

It's the one thing stopping me from buying the HDTV - what to do with the Bose speakers.

Thanks!

I would recommend replacing the Bose system with something that fits your needs. Most any brand name system would do and sound much better as well. Rather than trying to find a TV to work with your speakers, get your new HDTV and find a quality sound system to match. You should be able to replace the Lifestyle system with something that sounds better but costs less than the Lifestyle did. Gotta love that Bose marketing...

Listen to lovestowatch, sell the bose spkrs. on ebay. Look at the onyo home theaters in a box , they sound great and are great values.

Thanks; not really an alternative.
I want to continue to use this existing system.

No clue - I have already replaced two sets with HDTV and replace one DVD player with the Toshiba Upconverting DVD which looks great (to my old eyes)...

This is an unplanned purchase - and having to replace the Bose will make it impossible... Hence my reluctance! I guess I could go with wall mounts for the speakers; downside there is the LCD will be in a corner and not on a wall
