No it isn't as I had the same problem when I got my FUNAI! It had turned out to be:

1. Needed a second AMP for another 4-way
2. Prior COx tech left a piece of plastic in the coax connector outside
3. Coax was so old it just broke apart and was replaced by 2.3GHz coax RG9 Ultra..

Now every all my 6 TV ranging from 2 x 13", 1x 15" LCD HDTV, 1x 19" LCD HDTV, 1x 27" CRT SDTV, 1x 36" CRT SDTV and 1 x 37" LCD HDTV all look as they should sharp and no grain or fuzzy on ally of the channels, premium or HD ones everything is rock solid.

I should have said above you now see grain or fuzzy it's not the TV it's your cable system where there is something not working right. Have it check out..

Well I don't know how SEAR thinks about the FUNAI it's either hidden like you say or at the bottom of the floor at my SEARS. Only the higher ones are nearby.. I was impressed by the sharpness and color being so vivid.. SEARS is more expenisive that the other stores if they need to compete, they better lower the prices. SEARS/KMART should also have FUNAI in stock also. I only got one of those type of stores but it's miles away.

Another big sale is CYBER Monday but that's online.. YOu have to order online and go to store of your choice to pick up the item..

yeah, it was on the floor-under a sony too! cyber monday is at cc? that aquos sale was already over when i saw it online- and they didn't take online orders.

Didn't you buy the FUNAI? Or did you get the Sharp? Can you guy snap some shot of the set in SD and HD. I would like to see how well it performs as FUNAI tells me..

didn't get either yet. the sharp sale was over by the time i got to it and the sylvanias are out of stock too. just as well, it's getting crazy this time of year and i'm gonna roll the dice and see what i can score.

Well the 37 was 629 and 42 was 799. those were bf,sat and sun. only not sure now what they are. anyways the 37" had a awsome pic, man I was tempted but I dont want a divorse so..........

Yeah I told the wife she told me your crazy!

I wanted to replace my 36" CRT and stick that in my family room, and put the 42" FUNAI in my living room. I got the stand ready for it.. Those prices will come around again.. I know the PQ on the 37" does look as you put it awsome..

man a 42" lcd 1080p for 799 what a deal, my buddy bought the 42" olivia for 699 but the sylvania sets after we got the remotes for all and made sure they were getting hd feeds blew away the olivias, even the 47" 1080p olivia. also on sat. night in wappinger falls ny bjs they had stacks of these sets......
