Any idea which Sharp Aquos 46" at Circ City this is ? Are these good models ? I saw an ad ad HHGregg for 46" Sony Bravia but neither ad gives a model # - one was $1500 & the other was $1800 - - think there's mcy diff in the viewing for the average person ?
I've been thinking seriously about a Vizio 47" LCD for about $1700, but with these Black Fri prices, I think I'd rather go with the Sony or Sharp.
Also, I think I've seen where you can order stuff online starting Thanksgiving Day which beats the hell outta being somewhere at 5am!
Thx

I'm in the same boat ... I can't decide what to get, but from what I've seen, none of the LCD deals are 120hz TV's.

The Sharp is the LC46D42U.
The Sony's are KDL-46V2500 & KDL-46V3000 (I think)

Thx for the info. I have a feeling I might research this thing so much I'll talk myself out of buying anything. Looking at CostCo the Sonys & the Sharps seem to have better pics than the Vizios, and with the deals they're offering it seems like a much better buy. I've also had people tell me 780 is good enough, but I don't buy that. I just hate the thought of spending $1500+ to watch TV. Is it going to make my life better? Is it going to fill a void in my life? Is it going to make me a better person? Hell Yeah ! !

hahahaha, I totally hear ya ... I'm doing the same song and dance ... "is it worth the extra money ... If I spent just a little more ..." blah blah blah. In the end, I think the $1300 Sharp at CC is going to be the best bet for Black Friday deals. Just not looking forward to a 12 hour camp out ... hooray!

That does seem like a good deal. Plus a stand is gonna cost about $200. It never ends. Seems like I read somewhere you can order items online starting Thanksgiving Day too. And if I wait till the middle of Dec maybe I'll get an even better deal..................

As an FYI - the Sharp 46" LCD on sale at Sears.....My store received in about 8-10 to have in stock for the sale. I would assume that this is the case at most stores....in case anyone interested was worried about the good old 2 in stock issue. I'll call my old store tomorrow and see what they got in the verify...

yes it is....some people might like it. If 1080i is what you can afford...thats what you can afford....I would prefer a better tv but for less than $600 it was a great deal and in my budget...a 42" dlp is way better than a 30" samsung slimfit..

Is that a typo? Should that be LC46D43U? The D42 series stopped at 37 I believe.
