Default Interference on analog cable

I have an Insignia 37" LCD TV. It works great, but there are some interference lines when I use analog cable. Is there some sort of filter I could use to eliminate the interference? Digital channels are great, it's just analog. The analog channels are watchable, even with the interference, but it would be nice to eliminate it. I could probably have the cable wiring redone, right now, the cable has to run a long way from the jack to the TV.

Sounds like a bad cable or a bad connector.

Without knowing who your cable provider is, I would say that it is the signal. I had Comcast for a while and continually had noisy pictures, ghosting etc. Had them come and repair it frequently but they could NEVER get it right. I fired them and went with Dish Network and have never looked back.

I had the same issue and tried the S-Video hookup and the lines went away. Try the S-Video.
