Default HDMI question on the Vizio TV

here is my question

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uFtgzXOZVHo

i have my ps3 with HDMI, but i have this question why when you put a
game and when the games is loading th first you see is the letters
PLAYSTATION 3 then i have a blue screen (this blue screen appears on my
tv when is not reciving sign for any device is like a default
background) then after this 1 sec blue screen the game begins,,, so i
wonder if with HDMI this is normal, because before HDMI I used
Component cables and never happend this.
some people told me about when the PS3 changes the resolution from the XMB background (the main
menu screen) to the resolution of the game. For instance if your XMB is
set at 1080i and you put in resistance, it will have to change from
1080i to 720p (since resistance is a 720p game) During that change the
PS3 will stop broadcasting 1080i and change to 720p, your tv will lose
signal while the PS3 changes to the correct resolution for the game..
It's totally normal.
but in this case i have my ps3 on 720p , and i put the fight night round that only
support 720p, and i have this 1 sec bluescreen, only on HDMI, my tv is a lcd VIZIO.so i wonder if in this case is better leave with component cables, because this situation could damage my tv?
here is the video

I'm not sure, it looks like you are changing outputs on the PS3 just before the screen goes blue?
If that's the case I wouldn't worry. I think that the PS3 stops outputting while it adjusts and then the signal is restored. With components it may be so short that it's not picked up, but with the HDMI it is getting picked up? I wouldn't worry about the temporary loss of signal.
