For size reasons (my wife's entertainment center), I am limited to two 37 inch LCD TVs. (They must be 36 inches wide or narrower.) Does any one have any insight as to which is the better choice --the 37 inch LCD TV directly from Dell. Or the 37 inch LCD TV from Samsung offerred by Sam's Club?

Take the Samsung. Dell does not make any parts for there TV's and if there is a problem after the warranty is up the TV becomes a throw away as no one will work on the unit because Dell supports no service centers, nor are there parts availible for any units!

Samsung. Dell has gotten poor grades in all reviews I have seen. They should have stuck with computers. GW.

Samsung actually makes all the stuff in their LCDs, including the glass. Dull is a packager, they resell stuff they don't make or design. BUT they are cheap. I'd have no issue using their computer monitors, but no way for a HD set.
